The Library Board of Trustees has been hard at work these last two years working on a Strategic Plan for 2023-2025. This has been a long, intense process, examining the needs and wishes of the community as we move into our future. Copies of the Strategic Plan Narrative is available here and at the library and we look forward to discussing the work plan and strategic priorities with patrons and residents.
This Historic Building Assessment was completed with assistance from the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance and the Deerfield Heritage Commission. This document provides an important roadmap for the trustees as we consider the needs of the Soldiers Memorial building to ensure its proper stewardship, as an important historical resource and public library serving the town of Deerfield.
Policies are continuously being updated and public policies are available above.
The Elsie Brown Library Volunteer of the Year Award 2025 will be awarded on Saturday, April 5th, at 10:00am at the Philbrick-James Library. Please join us for light refreshments to celebrate this commitment to community!
